Terms of Service

1. Purpose
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") aim to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the developer (the "Developer") of Sideboardand the users (the "User") regarding the use of the services provided by the Developer.
2. Service Provision and Nature
- This service does not store or collect the User's memo data on external servers. It operates by storing data exclusively on the User's local device.
- The Developer does not separately collect or store User data and does not access User data during the normal course of service operation.
- This service does not provide a separate automatic backup function. The User bears full responsibility for the management and backup of their data within their own device.
- The User is solely responsible for any data loss resulting from app deletion, device change, loss of device, hardware defects, operating system errors, or any other similar causes.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
- All intellectual property rights, including software, designs, logos, and trademarks included in the service, belong to the Developer.
- The rights to memos and other content created by the User within the service belong to the User, and the Developer does not claim any ownership over them.
4. Payment Processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
When purchasing Sideboard Pro, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
5. Limitation of Liability
- The Developer shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the use of the service unless such damages are caused by the Developer's intent or gross negligence.
- The service is provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis. The Developer does not guarantee the continuity of the service, the absence of errors, the completeness of functions, or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Changes to and Suspension of Service
The Developer may modify functions or suspend the provision of the service within a reasonable scope as necessary for service improvement or operational requirements.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and such disputes shall be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
